Water for Life – Burton Pools Partners with Hydrating Humanity

While water is a compound that is essential for the survival of all life forms, the sad reality is that many of the world’s population do not have access to clean water, especially in Africa. According to UNICEF, 418 million people on the continent lack a basic drinking service, 779 million lack basic sanitation services, and 839 million lack basic hygiene services. To offset the immense need for clean water throughout Africa, Burton Pools & Spas has partnered with Hydrating Humanity and is excited to share how you can help.
What is Hydrating Humanity?
Hydrating Humanity is a global organization dedicated to providing the world’s poorest areas with the fundamental need for clean, safe water and hygiene education. Hydrating Humanity provides three different types of wells – Drilled Wells, Afridiv Hand Pump Wells, and Artesian Spring Wells – to these regions to ensure they have the ability to access the clean water necessary for survival. Hydrating Humanity also provides a hygiene curriculum that raises the efficacy of the wells by 75 percent.
It’s Time to Give Back
Burton Pools & Spas has been a proud partner of Hydrating Humanity since 2017 and can provide for this amazing cause because of our amazing clients. The wells provided by Hydrating Humanity are the very life resource thousands across Africa need to survive. It’s easy to forget that some people don’t have easy access to something as simple as water, and that’s why we’re passionate about ending the crisis.
Burton Pools & Spas has sponsored 43 clean-water projects in East Africa with Hydrating Humanity, allowing over 20,000 people daily access to clean water for the first time in their lifetime. Our goal is to reach 45 wells by the end of the year.
So how do we do that?
We are excited to share that a portion of each of our sales goes to help fund a well provided by Hydrating Humanity. As part of the Burton Pools & Spas family, you are vital in giving the people of Africa the very resource needed to live – water!
There are a few ways you can help give to this amazing organization.
