We just came in the house from a relaxing Father's Day in our
backyard. While floating in the pool, I was thinking about
how wonderful it is to have a pool. Our pool gives us the opportunity
to spend quality time together relaxing after a day of work
and especially on the weekend. The pool beckons us outside
and takes the strain of the day away. We are trying to spend
the Lord's Day not working and enjoying each other by the pool.
We were not taking the whole day off before we had it. During
the winter, the spa has been that relaxing avenue for us as
well.
I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for a job
well done. Our in-floor cleaning system was one of the first
ones you installed. We had a few minor glitches in the very
beginning but you responded effectively and professionally.
It is now the talk of the neighborhood because it is so efficient
and keeps the pool looking so clean and inviting. Larry helped
me draw the outline on the lawn and spent a lot of time developing
what we had in mind to do, while staying within our budget.
Grant, Robert, Josh, Terrell, and Mark worked harder in the
heat of the summer than anyone I have ever seen. Jessie even
got in the cold water to monitor the in-floor system without
a complaint. I had wanted a pool all my life and this is truly
a dream come true built by a "dream team."
A big thank you to Jerrell
who keeps our pool and spa water perfect. Every trip I take
to your store is pleasurable. Anyone entering Burton's can
see that it is run by Christian principles from the very beginning
development to the installation to the supplies needed during
the year. People are treated by you and your team exceptionally
well. I thank you again for all that you do to give families
in this area a way to have their own dreams come true with
a pool. It is true, I can get wet without getting in over my
head. Thank you.

When a customer has a complaint,
I would assume that you would hear about it the same day.
That is what prompted me to write this letter, as I too would
complain if not satisfied. That being the case, then
it should only be fitting to let you know when a customer
is satisfied.
Let me start by saying the
crew that built our pool could not have performed better even
if handpicked by myself. They demonstrated the kind
of professionalism that Burton Pools strives to convey to
the public. Euell Newby and his crew (Tim, Stacey, and
Kevin) conducted themselves in such a manner that anyone would
be proud to not only have them as employees, but claim them
as part of their own family. It was very refreshing
to see construction workers that did not fit the stereotype
of non-caring, foul-mouthed macho men. I did not have
to worry about my son being around to see or hear anything
unethical or rude being displayed.
Being at work did not allow
me to witness very much of the construction, but listening
to my wife brag about how nice, polite, respectful, and handsome
(Euell) the crew were let me know that we had made the right
decision when selecting Burton Pools to construct our pool.
It was a pleasure to spend
a little time with part of the crew on Saturday while they
finished, to see firsthand what my family had mentioned to
me on more than one occasion (although Euell ain't that handsome).
I would welcome the opportunity for this crew to do any work
for me in the future.
David, I do not know whether
to thank you or Larry for assigning the crews, so please pass
along my thanks to him for everything he did to make tearing
my yard up a pleasurable experience.

Please permit me to thank you for the exceptional
customer service you provided my wife and I when we bough
a no-vent gas log from you. Many times in the past we
have experienced the hassle and frustration of dealing with
a business who cared only about the sell. That certainly
was not our experience with you.
After the first log was installed and
generated intense fumes, we really dreaded getting back in
touch with your company. We anticipated excuses, evasions,
and slow responses that expressed annoyance. We encountered
friendliness, courtesy, understanding, and a genuine commitment
to addressing the problem.
Your immediate offer to refund our money
or to attempt to correct the undesirable fumes was deeply
appreciated. Your solution of installing another model
at no additional expenses to us was almost unbelievable.

in circumstances that often produce a lot of frustration.

Recently we had
our pump and motor replaced by your service department.
The gentleman who did the work was named Leroy. I just
wanted to tell you what a great job he did. His work was
very professional and quality oriented. He was very conscientious,
courteous, and polite. You
can be proud to have Leroy on your workforce, for he portrays
the type of services which I rarely see in today competitive
market.
We would most certainly solicit work from
your company in the future based on this satisfying experience.
I encourage you to continue putting for this type of individual
to represent your company. He made a lasting impression
on us, not to mention correcting several problems with our
pool that have plagued us in recent years.
